The Other Guys Painting Co. was founded in Vancouver over 14 years ago with a simple mission: deliver meticulous, high-quality painting services at a fair and honest price. Born and raised in the Lower Mainland, we saw a persistent gap in the industry — most painting companies sub out their work to unreliable crews, cutting corners and compromising quality. We knew there had to be a better way.

Every member of our crew is directly employed by us — no subcontractors, no outsourcing. We put our painters through a rigorous, hands-on training process to ensure consistency, professionalism, and mastery of the craft. Our team is equipped with the best tools on the market, including Festool and Mirka dustless sanding systems, so every job is completed cleanly, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

We specialize in residential, commercial, and strata painting, as well as deficiency work on new multi-family developments and specialty coatings like 2-part epoxies, Roman Clay, and Venetian Plasters. Whether we’re restoring a heritage home or tackling a new construction project, we bring the same level of care and precision to every customer.
